St Augustines Accordion Band, c.1936
Accordion bands were popular in the 1930s. It is thought this photograph was taken in about 1936, it is not know where. The young man seated at the piano (second from left) is Geoffrey Berry, who died in 1942 while serving as a corporal in the Royal Army Pay Corps aged just 24.
