Once there, tick the box at the bottom of page to say that you agree with the Terms and Conditions and then click the "Submit" button which takes you to the "Planning Public Access" web page. Once there click "Planning" (on the left side of your computer screen), then click "Application Search" and then enter the application reference number (quoted below). Alternatively, do a property search for your own property and then search for Planning Applications, etc. within a 50, 100, 200 etc. metre radius of your property.
- Planning applications and 09/0563/U & 09/01564/U to convert former commercial premises at 35 & 37 St Augustine's Street (old butcher's shop and newsagents) respectively into one-room studio flats are rejected by Norwich City Council's Planning Committee.
- Proposed redevelopment of Anglia Square - 08/00975/C & 08/00974/F -
Still appears as "Pending" on the Council's website although reported in the press as approved. Probably for legal reasons concerning agreement between the City Council and owners on Section 106 agreements. The developers, Centenary Ashcroft, have publicly stated that work on redeveloping Anglia Square (to be renamed Calvert Square) is on-hold until the economy and housing market improves.
- Redevelopment of 164-166 Oak Street (old Auto Car Centre premises to become a wholesale Cash & Carry store) - 08/00952/U - Approved.
- Demolition of garages on Edward Street - 08/01037/C - Approved.
- Proposed demolition of garages on north-west side of Magpie Road and redevelopment of site to build 11 dwellings - 08/00827/F - status as of 22/1/09: Approved.
- Proposed redevelopment of Sussex House site (former Norwich Union office) off Sussex Street - 08/01303/C & 08/01304/F - Approved.
- Proposed redevelopment of 70-72 Sussex Street (Easters and old Quality Foam Rubber warehouse) - 08/01085/C & 08/01086/F - Rejected.
- In May 2009 the developers of the above scheme submitted revised plans (09/00296/F), which have now been approved, to build 9 town houses, 3 apartments, and 5 duplex apartments with 238 sqm of commercial space fronting Oak Street.
- Proposed redevelopment of 113 & 114 Oak Street (The Talk and Lovells) - 07/00876/C & 07/00877/F - Rejected and Appeal Dismissed by the Planning Inspectorate.
- In April 2009 the developers of the above scheme submitted revised plans (09/00182/0), which have now been approved, to build 58 dwellings (32 3xbedroom townhouses, 2 bedsits, 2 3xbedroom apartments, 17 2xbedroom apartments and 5 1xbedroom apartments, plus car parking, amenity areas, bin and cycle stores).
