By-elections will be held on this day for 13 Norwich City Council seats. One City Council seat will be contested in Mancroft Ward (the area into which
St Augustine's falls).

St Augustine's Community Together Residents' Association community meeting. Starts 7.30 p.m.
in St Augustine's Hall, Norwich. Free. All welcome.
Saturday OCTOBER 2nd:
TRANSITION NORWICH with Magdalen Street and District Traders Association present the first annual Magdalen Street Celebration. This is an opportunity to celebrate and promote the range of trades, products, activities and talents from this street and nearby areas. Who can be involved:
- Traders – we will encourage people to discover what you have on offer through challenges, activities and promotional material.
- Local groups – promote your group, through demonstrations, exhibitions and promotional material.
- Artists / crafts people – run a stall or workshop, or submit work for one of the exhibitions.
- Musicians / performers – contribute to a schedule of events in a variety of locations.
- Residents - meet your neighbors and learn about the hidden histories of Magdalen Street.
